Prof. (Dr.) Edgar Estupinan

Edgar Estupinan received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, in 2010. He was a visitor research Fellow at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research of University of Southampton, UK, in 2006. Professor Estupinan has also Master Degree in Science and Innovation Management, from University Poltecnica de Valencia (Spain). He is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Tarapaca, Chile. His research interests include predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and prognostics of health machinery. During the last years has been participated, in several applied and research projects related to engineering, innovation and sustainability.

Prof. (Dr.) Mohan L. Kolhe

University of Agder, Norway

Professor Dr. Mohan Lal Kolhe is a full professor specializing in smart grids, hydrogen energy, AI applications in energy systems, and sustainable electrical energy systems at the University of Agder, Norway. A leading expert in renewable energy technologies, Prof. Kolhe brings over three decades of international academic experience, having previously held positions at world-renowned institutions such as University College London (UK/Australia), University of Dundee (UK), University of Jyvaskyla (Finland), and the Hydrogen Research Institute, QC (Canada). His expertise extends into advanced energy materials and AI-driven optimization of energy systems. He was a member of South Australia’s first Renewable Energy Board (2009–11), contributing to the formulation of renewable energy policies.
He has been consistently recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide from 2020 onwards by Stanford University matrices based on Elsevier data. His top 10 publications have received an average of more than 200 citations each, making him an acknowledged pioneer in his profession on a global scale. Prof. Kolhe has successfully secured competitive research funding from prestigious bodies such as the Norwegian Research Council, the EU, EPSRC, BBSRC, etc. His research spans smart grids, energy integration, AI applications for energy management, and energy materials.
Additionally, Prof. Kolhe is actively involved as the lead editor of numerous international conference proceedings and books, and serves as the series editor for various book series on sustainable energy systems

Prof. (Dr) Koki Ogura

Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan

Dr. Koki Ogura is a Full Professor at Kyushu Sangyo University, Fukuoka, Japan . He received the B.S. Eng., the M.S. Eng. and the Dr. Eng. Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Yamaguchi University, Yamaguchi, Japan in 2000, 2002 and 2005 respectively.
From 2005, he was working at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., Kobe, Japan, where he was engaged in the development of the next-generation, onboard battery-driven, low-floor light rail vehicle (LRV) and the advanced wayside energy storage system using a battery power system for electric railways in New York City Transit (NYCT), Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and Tokyo Monorail Co., Ltd., Japan.
His current interests include circuit design and integration of high-frequency soft switching resonant power conversion circuits and systems, power electronics applications in home appliances, transportation and renewable energy systems.
